I don't know why

Yesterday I dreamed of a friend of mine you know
It's a long time ago I met this guy in the land of the Ngaio
I don't know why suddenly I woke up and started to cry

Everything seemed so real for me I couldn't tell it's just a dream
The colours the voices just everything that's why I awoke with a scream
I don't know why there is still a tear in my eye

On the day I met him in this land far away 
We were talking about the common friends and turned night into day
I don't know why you'll never catch the wind that's passing by

We had different opinions about how life should be
Even talking in different languages which was OK for me
I don't know why some unspoken words will never die

We shared the same passion the passion for this land
He told me it's easy to change your life it's all in your hand
I don't know why you'll never get it if you never try

He showed me some precious things and places I wanted to go
Some secrets and some mysteries all I wanted to know
I don't know why I'm sometimes adventurous I'm sometimes shy

C'mon let's get it together let's create something new
We will be a successful team me and you
I don't know why sometimes the truth is turning into a lie

Although you have to sacrifice a part of you my friend
There's a world for you to discover now it's all in your hand
I don't know why I couldn't stop the dream from passing by

We were talking about the future we were talking about the past 
We were making plans without questioning how long this will last
I don't know why so many calls and no reply

Digging in the dirt is not the right way to carry on
