JESUS LOVED ME THAT MUCH

VS.1		Jesus so willingly followed the plan-
		A plan made in heaven where it all began.
		God gave His Son so He could come and redeem
		To be nailed to a cross with two prisoners between.

CH		Jesus loved me that much;
		No one could ever touch and love me the way that he does.
		He went straight to the cross; His Father knew it would cost
		But still He loved me that much.

		Jesus loved me to death,
		He took His final breath and lowered His head  just because
		He was thinking of me while He hung on that tree.
		Jesus loved me that much.

VS.2		Spreading His arms from end to end on that beam,
		His innocent blood-- down the cross did it stream.
		The anguish and pain that Jesus suffered that day
		Was in love for all men whose sins he offered to pay.

BR		Jesus so willingly died in my place.
		The cross a reminder that my sin was erased.
		He was laid in a tomb but then He rose again
		So I could live eternally. It’s all by His grace.
