Ben Sands (British & Irish Tracks)

Ben Sands lives in Newry, Ireland, close to the mountains of Mourne and the Irish Sea. He sings songs and plays tunes - mostly his own. His songs are about life and love and the ways of the world. Some are whimsical, some are sad and some are very humorous indeed. He plays a few instruments - guitar, banjo, mandolin, whistles, keyboards and occasionally fiddle. Like those of brothers Tommy and Colum, Ben’s songs and tunes are finding their way into many repertoires and recording studios.
