In April 2006, Murder the Stout took their energetic stage show from Texas to Louisiana and Mississippi to promote the release of their debut album. The band had formed in late 2004 after lead singer Gerard Bride wanted into some serious performing. He and Neil DuFour on guitar had already developed a decent setlist when Hugh Morrison joined the band with his squeezebox. After the original drummer and bass player relocated, they found the perfect rhythm section in Berkley Sisson & Jonathan Chamrad, who had years of performing experience, so they were a perfect fit.
