From 1998 - 2002 Matthew studied privately under Pat Martino with a concentration in jazz theory. He also studied under Alex Domschot with a concentration in jazz theory, transcribing, reading and composing in Philadelphia and Atlantic City. Matthew has played guitar and composed arrangements for a wide array of musical genres including jazz, rock, hip-hop, funk, blues, and country in venues throughout New Jersey, Philadelphia and New York City.
