Graham O’Brien is a distinctive Twin Cities (St. Paul, MN) drummer and beat maker. Aside from drumming in No Bird Sing, he has recorded or performed with the likes of Eyedea, Kill The Vultures, Abzorbr, and Kristoff Krane. Graham's debut solo effort, Live Drums, lies somewhere near the boundaries of the Instrumental Hip Hop genre. Compositionally, his Hip Hop and Trip Hop music is influenced by DJ Shadow, Portishead and The Gaslamp Killer, among others. As the title suggests, each song is shaped by Graham’s drum set performances, which are inventive and creatively recorded.
