He studied music and composition in Osnabrueck and Oldenburg, plays piano in several international ensembles like MalikMe, and has been featured in over 300 projects. In addition to writing his first symphony in 2009 for 240 musicians, Mitsch scores for German TV and Films, nature documentaries, and peace and spiritual projects.
