Michael Rien is a Canadian artist who works closely with filmmakers, composing music for feature and short Films. He writes in a variety of genres, including suspense, drama, thrillers, action, adventure, fantasy, and comedy. Michael has scored 5 Indie feature films to date, receiving an EKP Wreath Award for Best Music for "Schemer" by Eddy Kara. "L'Obsession" by Jean Alix Holmand won 1st prize at The 2008 Montreal International Haitian Film Festival. Michael Rien also scored for the documentary "The Power of Yoga" featuring Ravi Shankar.
