Pretty Mary Sunshine is a five piece band from Seattle that evolved in the Grunge era. The group features former Mazzy Star guitarist Kurt Elzner and singer-songwriter Patrice Tullai. Their song "Can I Stay?" appeared on the the SFW soundtrack along with Radiohead and Soundgarden. Pretty Mary Sunshine's album "Bird Medicine" features songs of love, and twisted beautiful loss. The multi-layered sound landscapes cradle the siren vocals and haunting sweet cello-like lyrics.
