A lilting acoustic track about modern America and the great divide between the classes. And the fragile nature of faith. Corrupt leaders and a battling impatient public in the "I want it all and I want it now" culture. This tune would be great for a documentary or a film dealing with history. Male Vocals, Singer/Songwriter, Folk Singer-Songwriter
Sad acoustic ballad about lost love and loss in general. Romantic themes with lyrics flashing back into the past. Reflective, Male Vocals, Singer/Songwriter, Folk Singer-Songwriter
Acoustic folk tune. Sort of a flashback retrospective lyric. Lots of rural themes. A bit of a droning feeling to the song. Acoustic guitars, mandolin, etc. Lyrically about life and death and the ties that bind. Our connection to our roots and the land we grew up in. A "full circle" narrative. Male Vocals, Singer/Songwriter, Folk Singer-Songwriter
Opening is reminiscent of Oasis' "Champagne Supernova". A song about a shut in woman who never leaves home. The narrator is begging her to come outside and experience life again. Would be a great end title for a film. The singer is in love with a woman who is stuck inside literally and figuratively. Male Vocals, Singer/Songwriter, Folk Singer-Songwriter
Simple guitar and harmonica track in the tradition of Bob Dylan, John Prine, or Bruce Springsteen. A sing along track with a touch of whimsy and melancholy. A tune about being weighed down with the ennui of daily life. Raising a family, working a day job, and just trying to get by with a smile on. Male Vocals, Singer/Songwriter, Folk Singer-Songwriter
Throwback to the 70s style of songwriting. In the vein of John Lennon, Harry Nillson, et al. A socially conscious song about the division in America right now. A positive message of hope that we will all come together in the end. Big live string arrangement and a catchy sing along hook. Get Together, Male Vocals, Singer/Songwriter, Pop Singer-Songwriter
A touching homage to mothers everywhere. Great tune for Mother's Day events and dedications. Each verse is a little vignette about the role a mother plays in a child's life. Acoustic guitar mandolin and vocal. Sort of a country styled track. Heartwarming track that would be great for an ad campaign. Instrumental, Singer/Songwriter, Folk Singer-Songwriter
A sad song of lost love that references the Edgar Allan Poe short story "The Cask Of Amontillado". A pair of fingerpicked guitars and the vocal are the only instrumentation. A song about loneliness and not having your feelings heard. Would be great in any love story film. Clever songwriting. Male Vocals, Singer/Songwriter, Folk Singer-Songwriter
A lonely sounding acoustic tune with just a vocal, acoustic guitar and dobro. Very similar to some of Springsteen's more acoustic work. Great for any scenes dealing with isolation or loneliness. The song is set in a home where the singer used to live. Everything is gone but he is still there for now, Male Vocals, Singer/Songwriter, Folk Singer-Songwriter
A dark acoustic song about a young man gone wrong. A victim of his environment. His family turns a blind eye. Could be a Bruce Springsteen, John Mellencamp, Steve Earle, or Tom Waits track. Could work in a western or a police drama about a young man turning to a life of crime. Generations of worry. Male Vocals, Singer/Songwriter, Folk Singer-Songwriter
Acoustic story song about an ex con moving down south to start a new life. Nice dobro playing on this tune. Like a Bruce Springsteen or Steve Earle track. Descriptive lyrics. Would work in any rural based film or period piece. Old school feel. Bluesy guitar riff and a bit of country and roots music. Male Vocals, Singer/Songwriter, Folk Singer-Songwriter
A dark folk tune about the conflict between success and morality. The fight between the desire to be a moral person but still succeed in the real world. Guitar, dobro, and raspy vocals a la Bruce Springsteen in his "Nebraska" period. Good for scenes about moral conflict. Sort of country western too. Male Vocals, Singer/Songwriter, Folk Singer-Songwriter
Beautiful acoustic track about a woman's desire for the wrong man. Very much like a John Lennon track. Doubled vocals and references to Romeo and Juliet. Would work in a romantic drama or medical show. A song about coming to your senses and seeing a relationship for what it is. Male Vocals, Singer/Songwriter, Folk Singer-Songwriter
