Today, July 6th, the world honors the birthday of the talented, famous Mexican artist and portraitist, Frida Kahlo, so it's fun to share today Canal 22's documentary trailer about the life and career of her husband, Diego Rivera, the famous mural painter also of Mexico.
We're honored here at AudioSparx to have two Mystery music cues in the Diego Rivera film, a Public Television Service / Cultural Purpose Broadcast that first aired in August 2016. In Spanish, translated here in English, “Diego Rivera, An Artist At The Crossroads. Great Figures of Mexican Art” shows the star power of Mexico’s greatest, most revered painter, known worldwide for his large, important murals. Historic footage shows his monumental works commissioned around the world, including at Rockefeller Center in NYC, as well as scenes from his Mexico City studio and home, where he lived with his the iconic wife, Frida Kahlo.
At 36 sec, our Mexico City client Quimera SLC licensed LA Composer/Producer MX47’s dark, surreal track to begin our journey: Diabolic
Around 1.52 min, Brian Fusilier’s dramatic, pounding “Hitchcock” kicks up the suspense: Hitchcock
