Nothing certain but uncertainty
Nothing lasting in this state of mortality
I’m still looking but I don’t seem to see
If there’s a rainbow at the end of this mystery

When your eyes glow like cathedrals in the sky
Lost within another time and place
All your desires fall apart in swarms
Memories too bittersweet to erase

Nothing real but I’m imagining
Nothing clear in this age of obscurity
I’m still looking for what I can’t see
Is there a rainbow outside this plague of hypocrisy

Lost within another time and place
All your resentment eats itself in swarms
Sentiments too bittersweet to erase
Yeah memories too bittersweet to chase
Agony too bittersweet to face
Victory too bittersweet to embrace
Fiction too bittersweet to make

I’m still looking for what it is I can’t see
Take me to the edge and feed my curiosity
Strip me to the bone, point me to the sky
Set me to the wind, open up my eyes
