I Hate Practicing Piano 
I hate playing alone
I could think up millions of better things to do
But here I am stuck on this piano bench with you 

I hate practicing piano
While my sister’s on the phone
I would rather eat a mouse or swallow me a worm  
But here I am nothing but a stinking piano germ

Mom says it will make me smart
Dad thinks it will tame me down
But here’s the truth that’s in my heart
It’s the worstest job in town

I’d rather be outside
Playing with my friends
I’m a very busy man
And  I have lots of plans

I hate practicing piano
I hate playing all alone
I should have lied and said I died
Even if Miss Julia sat down next to me and cried

I am stuck playing piano...
