Sometimes life’s like a rainy night
It’s dark and it’s cold 
And it feels like the light is never gonna ccme
Never gonna see the sun

I can’t find nothin gonna cure these blues
Turn on the TV; it’s more bad news
It just keeps coming round
Feeling like I’m gonna drown

Then I see you
And the world starts to change
When I’m with you
It’s hard to explain
It’s like a gentle wind
Makes me whole again
It’s pure poetry
What you do to me
If this is love
Hope it never ends
In this world so unsure
My only cure
Is you

I used to be such a laidback guy
Nothing could shake me
It seemed like I was in my own little area

But nowadays the world…it just drags me down
That carefree kid…guess he just left town
And left me standing here
Where nothing’s right and nothing’s clear

Then I see you…

I never dreamed
That I would find
A place where I 
Could leaver the world behind
Put a lock on the door
Whatever this is I want more
