Trouble started back when she was born
Evil lived inside her house
Threats were many with her courage torn
She kept quiet as a mouse

Many years went by she met a boy
Had him put a lock upon her door
He would give her love and bring her joy

They were married soon as school was done
Raised a family of their own
She made sure her kids were having fun

Then one day evil passed away
Tears of joy were running down her face
Still the threats about her future stayed
And kept her there in her hiding place

When she was older and all her kids had gone
She told the story of the evil from her past
Got the support she could have used all along
Finally found her peace of mind at last

Now that evil had finally gone for good
She could give her worried heart a rest
Make her peace just the way she should
Knowing she had given it her best
Lay her soul to rest
