Without Reason

Here, to your eyes
It’s what they want you to see
Yet they cast a spell of make believe
They fuel, all your hate
Turning love to poison
Yet you sit there waiting patiently

When will you say that enough is enough? 
Say what you have to say?
You need to speak your mind before it gets too late
Step up and be yourself

I won’t change my life without reason
I can’t give up the chase of my quest for freedom
I have to discover what will heal me
Search through it all to set my mind free
Where running from dreams that will kill you
Blind to the things that make you happy
And yet, here we are
Living in someone else’s world

Truth, is a lie 
When it’s told by preachers 
Who are they to say what’s right for you
Sleepwalking through the obvious crimes 
Can’t you feel that’s it’s unreal
Snap out before it swallows your life
