Q. How much can I earn at AudioSparx? A. If you are a new composer, artist, producer, band, singer/songwriter, etc., and considering letting AudioSparx represent you for commercial sales, digital downloads, and in-store music streaming, our best advice follows: Please don’t quit your day job -- this is a marathon, not a sprint. Once you upload your tracks, we pay quarterly 45 days after the end of each quarter (i.e., all October, November, and December 2016 commercial sales, digital download sales, and streaming income from RadioSparx.com etc. will be paid on Feb 15, 2017). As you create new music tracks and add them to your online catalog here, you enhance your chances of growing your income, too. If you’re a patient and productive artist or producer, you should do well over time -- but top earners who make a living solely in music generally have been producing for 5 to 10 years, or longer, and really do have 100s or 1000s of tracks online. Our streaming business and digital downloads of tracks and albums will earn residual income to supplement your present earnings and if clients use your music for their TV shows, movies, ad spots, etc. that increases your earnings further. This is what we hope happens, but there are no guarantees or get-rich schemes here or anywhere else that we know of in this business. There are many factors that influence your earnings including quantity and quality of tracks, production quality, performance quality, metadata configuration quality (i.e. how you configure your tracks' settings), genre, vocal versus instrumental, relevance, "now factor", "wow factor", and many other factors. Plus, music is very subjective and different clients look for different things and have different needs and priorities. Also remember that it takes a while for your music to get into the pipeline of our distributors, and onto digital download sites, and onto RadioSparx playlists and thus playing in our clients’ stores now in 65 countries. This is the type of business where it takes time for our clients, distribution partners, and resellers to discover your music and for it to start earning money through our large network of distribution and service channels around the globe.
