Q. Does AudioSpax license music that is "In The Style Of" other popular songs, TV shows or movie theme songs, etc.? A. Songs listed on our website may sometimes be considered to be "in the style of" some other original music artist, popular song, or song theme from a TV show, movie, or other media. These songs are not composed by the original artist. We do not have Billboard popular songs in our library and even if a music work on our website is in the general style of or feel of a popular song or artist, it is a completely new composition that bears no relationship to any other song. Furthermore, the use of an "In the Style of…" or "Soundalike..." search term in the metadata of our website's tracks does not imply an endorsement by our company, or by any artist, show, performer, producer, or owner of a popular song, nor does it imply that they are meant to be copies of the original song. There may be similarities based on the artistic inspiration imparted by the original music work, however, this does not imply that the new soundalike track is an infringing work. If any vendor uploads a new track here that we feel is an infringing work, we will promptly delete it.
