Los Angeles-based Carol Rhyu, aka the Dream Pop artist White Blush, has turned her formidable creative energy and vision to filmmaking with her new feature-length Drama "Loves Park." As a writer, director, and producer, Ms. Rhyu has created a challenging multi-faceted film, leading viewers on a journey that explores love and relationships, personal expectations and societal demands from the perspective of Millennials. It is "an artistic and surrealist exploration of a woman with depersonalization which is the eerie and persistent feeling of observing oneself from outside one’s body or having a sense that one’s surroundings aren't real."
"SYNOPSIS: When pregnant housewife Edie Canody learns her father-in-law has passed away, she and her husband Benjamin return to a disquieting small town of Loves Park for the funeral. Edie is surprised when Benjamin mysteriously decides to stay and run his family’s business. Edie’s behavior soon becomes increasingly bizarre as more time spent in Loves Park is eerily drawn out against her wishes."
