I saw your picture in the paper in a column in the back
The one for elders' passing and those tragedy collects

A brighter day filling up the sky
The future holds a promise, our enlightenment enhanced
When all within our dreaming falls within our reach, at last
We are stronger than our impulse, we are destined for the stars
Day to day we make our way towards a world without the scars

But not if we all close our eyes and turn our heads away
We must fight for what we need here, say what we have to say
And believe the world we leave here will find a better way

I am sent here by my duty, I am bound to see it through
