Maybe I should cut the grass out back – it’s covering the windows.
Maybe I should do my school studies -  it was due a week ago.
And maybe I should wash the car -  it was once white y’know.
If only I could pull myself away from the stereo.

	Summer nights are hot – we’re gonna sweat the  
       night away.

	Ain’t got no problems on the sand tonight,
        I’ll deal with everything else……..Another day.

And maybe I should cut my hair – So I can see where I’m going.
Maybe I should get me a pair of jeans – that don’t have holes in them.
Maybe I should get me a job – so I can get out of home.
But instead I think I’ll sit here on the sand – play my guitar all alone.
