(I heard )the message once before-outside a partially open door.
And voices (were) hushed and bored…
I never thought that she would be-the kind of person (who’s) meant to be
Just pretending to be free
You came out looking soft and blue- a moment changed as you were through
No trace of sadness left unsaid.
Some argument forced you to leave-a path too painful to reprieve, but I was
Just too young to tell
