Smokin' hot race cars, top-fuel dragsters, trackside in the pits -- over 400 tracks... hear it all right here. So real, you feel like you're right there! All tracks are recorded at 24/96 using a modified Fostex FR2 and a Shure VP88 or Earthworks TCK30k's, and edited with Magix Sequoia 12.
These 3 parts where recorded in my living room using a sony pro 2 and a shure vp88. Adjust the volume by using the crickets as a refernce level. Its fun to listen to the tv stuff. Thanks for listening, Tom s, Ambience,
This is a water pipe with some thing other then what is suppose to be in it, to be politically correct I did not inhale. This one is just funny.
Thanks for Listening,

Now this one is just fun to play. What you need to do first is find out how much your system can sustain at the throttle blips. Ask a friend to listen, and then just let the sound take it from there. The blips are guaranteed to make them jump. That alone is worth the price of admission. Car Racing, Top Fuel
This is an actual recording of Vietnam. It mainly consists of artillery shells, incoming and outgoing. The recording has not been edited in any way, it has been processed with EQ and NR. The piece would be great to have as a sound designer, just for the real life timing cues alone. Weapons, Siren with bombing
This was recorded directly from the pit wall. A little west of the finish line.
As always, Play it really Loud! 1kw per and a substanial sub really is fun. Car Racing, Pit Stop
This is probaly too close to the fence, They always chase me away, but I keep coming back. I do have stuff with me sitting in the stands, if you are looking for that. As always play it Really Loud. Cars Generic,
The commentary is worth the price of admission alone. There are few people mentioned that are no longer with us. The reason I only have the first half is because this is one of my first recordings and did not know that the stock batteries where crap, Car Racing, Race Cars
This is a recording of a friends car from the inside, the windows are down and yes it did fill up with tire smoke. Play this one real LOUD and you can almost smell the rubber.

The following race car samples are Outlaw Sprint cars that where racing at a local track, Volusia County Speedway to be exact in February of '95 during Daytona's Speed Week. These are really cool if you play them real LOUD, once again 1kw per channel and 2kw on 2 15" subs works real nice. TURN IT, Car Racing, Race Cars
