Virginia-based Softservo (aka Ben Spiker) produces dark, brooding atmospheres and soundscapes evocative of Cyberpunk Dystopias and long sleepless nights. Drawing influences from Dub Techno and IDM music of the 1990s and 2000s, his styles ranges from ambient Drone to Lo-Fi Techno to Chiptune dance tracks. Softservo recently produced two full-length albums to accompany the Pure Steam campaign setting for the Pathfinder role-playing game and is producing an ambient soundtrack for the documentary on the Flatwoods Monster of Braxton County, WV.
