Like a Leaf Letting Go

As I sit beneath a tree and scan the sky, 
some leaves are clinging to the tree while others choose to fly.
I think I know why.        

Like me, they've found a better life beyond the tree    
Away from all the disappointment "holding on" creates
with a leap of faith.
