Kaufman and Perri are a songwriting duo from California. Chris (Johnny) Perri is a lifelong musician and composer who was the lead guitar player for the 80's band Eddie and the Tide (Atlantic Records). The band scored two top 100 singles ("One in a million" and "Weak in the Presence of Beauty") before disbanding in 1990 after six albums. Marcus Kaufman (lyrics) is a professional writer and vocalist with a passion for voice characterizations and foreign languages. The team wrote a musical of "It’s a Wonderful Life," produced in California.
