Meadow Argus is the new solo project from Queensland, Australia, composer and multi-instrumentalist, Jevan Cole. Combining the rhythms of English Morris Dance with Rural Psychedelia, Meadow Argus’ extended instrumental tracks are infused with a creeping unease reminiscent of mythic folklore. In 2013, Jevan was part of a featured-artist duo for the Woodford Folk Festival Fire Event. He also had two tracks nominated for the Queensland Music Awards. Since 2013, Jevan has been recording cinematic pieces and has released ten Art Folk music CDs.
