Gavin Cooley is an Indie Folk and Alternative artist from Indianapolis, Indiana. Frequently compared to artists S. Carey, Sufjan Stevens, and Elliott Smith, Cooley makes warm and quiet music that features finger-picked acoustic guitars, reverb-soaked electrics, and his whisper of a falsetto. While writing songs and playing shows around Central Indiana, he released "Because I’m Dreaming," his debut EP. Alex received the Nickel Plate Arts Emerging Artist of the Year Award and the 2018 Service to Local Arts Award from Logan Street Sanctuary.
