High Cairo (Science Fiction Tracks)

High Cairo is the moniker for professional songwriter, composer, and guitarist John Shannon. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, he played guitar and composed for six seasons of the hit TV series "Louie" on FX with Louis CK. In addition to performances at Carnegie Hall, on Letterman, and at MIDEM, he has played or recorded with Lauryn Hill, Ben Harper, Levon Helm, Hiromi (Jazz), Karsh Kale (Electronic, World), Big Daddy Kane (Hip Hop), and John Mayer. High Cairo has toured the world and released three records with the label ObliqSound.
