Remi Álvarez & Pere Soto (Dangerous Tracks)

Musicians Remi Álvarez & Pere Soto come to us from Oaxaca, Mexico. Remi Alvarez taught himself to play the saxophone and later studied composition and improvisation at the Creative Music Studio with Anthony Braxton, George Lewis, Roscoe Mitchell, and Don Cherry. Pere Soto is a self-taught musician known in the international scene for his aesthetical flexibility that covers genres as diverse as Gypsy Jazz, Free Jazz, Avant-garde, Jazz Fusion, Bebop, Classical, Contemporary, Improvisational, Electroacoustic, and mostly 20th Century styles.
