With a degree in Audio Mastering from Berklee College of Music, Pete Trappen got his first beat-up acoustic guitar at the age of 8 and learned to play it through sheer will. He started his first band at age 12 and has now been a professional UK musician for 40+ years. Nominated for a Grammy in 2001, Pete's vocal style is similar to Jimmy Buffett jamming with Jim Morrison in a Bluesy backwoods roadhouse as he finger-picks Acoustic & Electric guitars with a generous dose of Eric Clapton and Mark Knopfler.
All parts are played by Pete Trappen using a Roland XP50 vintage synthesizer and an Akai MPC midi controller for rhythm tracks, keyboards, violins, flutes etc. Guitars are: Eric Clapton Signature Martin 0028 Acoustic and Heritage 535 & Fender Stratocaster Electric guitars and Hohner Harmonicas.
A psychedelic romp through the polka dot days of Carnaby Street and Haight Ashbury. Bell bottoms and wide belts topped off with a flowered shirt and funky hat. This trippy hazy groovy dance moves fluidly through the high streets of London. Reminiscent of the flower power days of the Beatles. Instrumental, Rock, 60s Rock
A heartbreaking story about how things couldn't get any worse when the subject of the song meets a Voodoo Witch with unexpected consequences. A bluesy rock setting with blistering guitar licks and a story line complete with barking dogs from hell. Male Vocals, Rock, Roots Rock
