Australia Hoover, The Ubiquitous Poet, produces records at Kinship Productions. He also writes lyrics and mixes and masters records, rounding out his sound engineering skills. "The Ubiquitous Poet" reflects his alter-ego: Ubiquitous meaning existing everywhere; and the Poet refers to early days as an MC trying to elevate his lyrics beyond the average street-corner rappers. Hoover's beginnings in the industry began in 1989 in Richmond, VA spittin' out intelligent rhymes over organic jazzed-out beats. While at Morehouse College, he began writing the jazzy tracks he's so famous for.
