Crossing the thresholds of two very different musical cultures, Jeremy Moyer is a Canadian erhu player, multi-instrumentalist and composer who has studied traditional folk music from several Chinese regions and performed in various world music ensembles doing everything from Greek music to Punjabi folk songs. His latest CD, "Mangoes, Musical Shorts Volume 1" features an eclectic range of original instrumental acoustic compositions, from meditative gong music to erhu smooth jazz. Jeremy is currently Musician in Residence, at the Shanghai-Zhujiajiao World Music Centre (China).
