Lawrence Sumpter (Spiritual Tracks)

California artist Lawrence Sumpter was introduced to music as a young member of the Ephesus Boy's Choir, based in the historic Ephesus Seventh-day Adventist Church in Harlem, NY. This group later came to be known as the Harlem Boy's Choir -- a legendary ensemble directed by Dr. Walter Turnbull. Today, Lawrence serves as minister of music at the Market Street SDA Church in Oakland, CA, and is also an organist for numerous area congregations. He received recognition in the "American Guild of Organists Magazine," and a Billboard music contest award in 2009.
