James Barry (Dramatic Tracks)

California composer James Barry's innovative approach combines hypnotic interlocking melodies with criss-crossing counterpoint to create moods ranging from ethereal and dreamy to dense and edgy. He has composed for and recorded/performed with a wide variety of artists and ensembles, including Joshua Radin, Ozma, Tears of the Moosechaser, Tinhorn Justice, and Falsetto Teeth, among others. James is a Cal Arts-trained cellist and a skilled bassist, guitarist, and accordionist, and he makes every attempt to combine those abilities with his programming and sequencing skills.
