Oyvind Blikstad (Dramatic Tracks)

Øyvind Blikstad is a talented Norwegian composer, producer, sound designer, and remixer who takes an unorthodox approach to finding the right instrumentation for his compositions. In his hunt for the right sound, he may take an ambient noise, such as a compressor from a carpentry workshop, and turn it into a functional instrument, like a bass, to create something entirely unique. Øyvind has a degree in musicology from the University of Oslo, and he works in the Dramatic, Electronic, Experimental, Ambient, Classical, Pop, and Orchestral genres, among others.
