The Marvelous Beauhunks are a Mod-Pop/Garage Rock band from Canada creating the best Britpop that was never made in Britain. The original line-up was formed in 1991 and had chart success on Toronto alternative radio with their song “Fantasy Merry-Go-Round." In-fighting forced the band to break up, but 18 years later a modified line-up regrouped and began releasing new material. With a new face and some soaring harmonies, there’s more low-end swagger pushing that same Beauhunks attitude in their sharp, three-minute Mod-Pop anthems.
Dust off your leater jackets, hep cats - this is the grooviest rockabilly song this side of Sun Studios. It's fun, it's catchy, it's cool - a perfect 50s vibe. Features greasy guitars dripping with slapback, a skiffle beat, and plenty of ear candy (sleigh bells, tambourine, shakers, sidesticks, etc), Male Vocals, Rock, Pop Rock
An epic, fast-paced ode to the Britpop movement of the early 90s - with plenty of early British punk attitude thrown in for good measure. Tambourines, shakers, and the amps cranked all the way to 11 (it's one louder, innit?). It's a raw, raucous good time. Hop on your Vespa and go down the pub, lad. Male Vocals, Rock, 90s Rock
This fast-paced ode to the early days of British punk will melt your face off. It's overflowing with ear candy. Various guitar tones (fuzz, overdrive, tremolo surf guitar, slapback, etc.), shakers, handclaps, tambourines, wolf howls, whistles, a ska breakdown in the bridge. What more could you want? Male Vocals, Indie Rock, Alt Rock
A mid-paced Britpop song with hints of the shoegazer sound thrown in. Very jangly, very melodic, very anthemic. Lots of little hooks come and go throughout the song (piano, handclaps, tambourine, fuzz guitar, 12-string guitar, etc.) Brings to mind early Oasis, The Catherine Wheel, R. E. M. Male Vocals, Rock, Pop Rock
Garage rock at its very best. This song is packed with ear candy. Handclaps, choir vocals, backwards cymbal crashes, etc. The vibe is loose and just a little dark, like early Oasis jamming with Nirvana and The Who. The best Brit-rock never recorded in Britain. Male Vocals, Rock, Modern Rock
An upbeat, anxious indie rock song in the spirit of The Pixies and Nirvana. It's fast, it's energetic, it's nervous - it's a panic attack in audio form. A farfisa organ gives it a 60s garage rock feel. Greasy slide guitars and all-out fuzz collide. Perfect for sports and fast action. Sha-la-la-la-la, Male Vocals, Rock, Art Rock
An all-out mod-rock anthem with early British punk elements. Rock music that sounds the way it should - exciting, angry, and a little bit unhinged. Fantastic bridge with boot stomps, air raid sirens, and percussion galore. Play this at your next party and prepare for something to get broken. Male Vocals, Rock, Modern Rock
The perfect combination of garage rock and 70's glam - like T-Rex jamming with The Troggs. You want hook-filled rock with ear candy galore? Well you've got it with this track. Jangly Rickenbacker guitars, a Motown drum beat, handclaps, "HEY!" screams, shakers, tambourine, and other catchy elements. Male Vocals, Indie Rock, Alt Rock
Late 80's Manchester dance-rock meets 70's mod-rock in a battle to the death. Who will win? Who cares when the music is this good? This song is a funky, groovy garage punk beast with cranked up Rickenbacker guitars, a slinky bassline, and a rollicking drumbeat. Crank it up and enjoy the party. Male Vocals, Indie Rock, Alt Rock
