Based in San Francisco, Man From Playground’s founder Neiel Davis Cavin began his career as a bassist for Jamaican Reggae and Dub groups and as a freestyle lyricist during the Golden Age of Hip Hop. Pioneering a contemporary soul vibration via Lo-Fi, heavy live Electronica, Hip Hop, Disco-Punk, Dub, and Alternative, his sound evolved amidst the thriving, intersecting, international culture of the House, Breaks, Jungle, and Turntablism/Emcee underground. Playground’s music will fit with youth-based media, Sci-Fi, Horror, Film, and TV series.
