Paul Marius Fontaine is the leader and singer of the group Fenoamby. A native of Madagascar, he is a gifted composer, lyricist, and multi-instrumentalist who plays everything from guitar and harmonica to kabossy, valiha, marovany, diatonic accordion, blap, percussion, and drums. Paul has played in multiple bands including The Thunders, The Spiders, The Super-jazz, The Black, 7 Eagles, and Tropical Angels of Diégo. In Malagasy, Fenoamby is a supernatural phenomenon, such as a person who has six fingers on every hand!
