Trained in piano, frame drum, conga, dumbek, and African polyrhythms, their music evokes powerful moods and lush scenes. Known as the godfather of the Tribal Fusion music genre, Solace is widely recognized for inspiring an entire generation of dancers in this subculture of dramatic theatrical world dance. They have traveled internationally performing with Eventide, Gypsy Caravan, and UCLA's Mid East Ensemble.
