Q.  How and why do the earnings per track per play vary among different tracks?

A.  The earnings per play that occurs for any track can vary based on many factors, including:

  • Whether the earnings at any particular DSP is coming from subscription fees versus ad-related earnings.

  • Which DSP the earnings were generated at, considering that the share earned or retained by each DSP varies.

  • Which country(s) the plays occurred in, because earnings in each country are based on their local currency, and hence currency exchange rates affect earnings based on US dollar conversion.

  • Which distribution partner of AudioSparx the music was distributed through and through which the earnings were generated.  The revenue sharing rates vary based on the negotiation and license deal terms AudioSparx was able to achieve with each different distributor.

The per-track, per-play earnings are not something AudioSparx has any direct control over here, and it can vary widely among different songs and individual plays based on the specific play activity involved for each song, factoring in each of the issues mentioned above.
