Award winning Composer and Producer Claudio Pelissero (aka Claud9) is currently creating the soundtrack for Marco Pozzi’s motion picture "Maledimiele" (2011 Venice Film Festival). His compositions fuse genres and styles like Orchestral, Dramatic, Rock, Action, Thriller, etc. Following success at the Berlin Film Festival, his album “Music 4 Young Flyers” was awarded Best Original Soundtrack at the Williamsburg Brooklyn Film Festival of NY. Italian Composer and Producer Claudio Pelissero is somewhat celebrated for his hot Electronic and Orchestral music soundtracks used in several wildly popular Italian adverts for clients like Martini, Faac, Eminflex, Trussardi, and Romeo Gigli. A remix of one of his Electronic tracks (D Lake) became a massive dance hit in 2008, and recently was selected as the soundtrack for Forza3, a Microsoft top seller Xbox Video Game.
Claudio's original soundtrack for Italian Director Marco Pozzi’s film “Venti" received a prize for the Best Original Soundtrack at the Williamsburg Brooklyn Film Festival of New York. And more recently, he was asked by Universal Music to be artistic producer for “The Great Dictator” (Red Music/UniversalMusic Italy), an ambitious project wherein Claudio will compose the music to accompany the famous Chaplin monologue which appears at the end of this upcoming 1940s film.
