Italian group Strani Elementi was formed in 2002 by seven close friends with a singular musical vision. Recalling the legendary music of the 70's in a truly modern way, they write powerful Rock and Pop songs with Italian vocals provided by the magnificent Daniel Ficini, whose singing style can range from aggressive to warm and tender. The group is rounded out by Rosco on Hammond organ and synth, Niko and Simone Belli on guitar, Claudio Fabiani on sax, Monica on backup vocals, Federico Bani on bass, and Alessandro Brilli on drums.
"The credit goes to the great musical experience of each member of the group... the career of outstanding flautist and saxophonist Claudio Fabiani, engaged for more than twenty years with numerous bands of various kinds, working with top names such as Cat Power and DJ Claudio Coccoluto, and the drummer Alessandro Brilli, collaborator of Cat Power and Mauro Pagani (PFM). It is therefore bittersweet, hard, mature, and complex, reflecting the professionalism and competence of strange elements. The first track, My Vision, is one of the most rousing songs of the album, characterized by violent right chemistry between a guitar, reminiscent of the best Vasco Rossi." - Review by Sofia Marelli
A mid-time rock ballad with the lyrics by Niko stating the difficult to live in Italy avoiding the corruption and the various mafias, fighting day by day just like a city warrior. Male Vocals, Rock Music, Latin Rock
Classic rock ballad about the road and the search of a new way of life. Travelling on the tuscany roads is similar to drive on the US west coast motorway and the reason is not so different... Male Vocals, Rock Music, Latin Rock
A great mid-time rock song about the original way of mind of Daniele Ficini, the singer of Strani Elementi. Please note the final instrumental part where Claudio and Niko are alternating the solo like a Bach fugue for flute and electric guitar, . Male Vocals, Rock Music, Latin Rock
