Forever

The lawyer asks his wife for another cup of tea- She sits there lost in thought “Does he ever think of me?” The children in their rooms, still sleeping in their beds…underneath their secrecy. Their shoes and clothes are tossed  and jumbled in the hall. He then puts on his coat--and tries to carry on.
