Margie Butler (European Tracks)

Irish composer Margie Butler brings us beautiful, haunting Celtic harp pieces conjure a calm, relaxing and romantic atmosphere. Margie grew up in very musical surroundings. Her father was a talented Irish tenor and music runs throughout her family. Margie's true musical expression was realised when she discovered the Celtic folk harp. Her love for the music of her ancestors blossomed as she recalled many of the Irish songs first sung to her as a child by her father. Margie has a degree in performing arts and has toured and performed extensively as a vocalist and harpist.
