Q. Can I modify the tracks I purchase at AudioSparx to structure them as needed for my production?
A. You can edit and alter sound effects and music tracks to suit the needs of your production. This includes adding reverb, adjusting volume, duration, pitch, frequency or any other desired change. This is a natural part of embedding sound effects and music into a production so is covered by our license terms by default.
To add vocals to a music track is a permitted use under the following conditions:
1. The track (with vocals) is strictly used within the production you are creating
2. The track (with vocals) is not sold or exploited externally from your production
3. You do not claim any ownership or authorship of the music track itself
4. You file a proper cue sheet for the use of the track when the TV production is broadcast
Such modification of a music track is permitted solely within the context of your production's needs, and the track with vocals will not be exploited separately from the production, and hence does not compete with or materially alter the market opportunities for the track as it exists separately from your production. If you wish to exploit the music track (with vocals) separately and apart from your production, please contact info@audiosparx.com to inquire about custom licensing and we may be able to negotiate a license for you to do this. The option and pricing for such a custom licensing depends on various factors: 1. Whether the composer and/or copyright holder of the track agree for the track to be used in such a way
2. How much of the original song is contained in or makes up the new composition.
3. How much ownership of the new song you wish to have (i.e. full buyout ownership of the new track, publishing control, shared publishing control, etc.) ---
