Q. Can I upload additional new tracks to my account that have been co-written with another composer? A. Yes, here are the various different ways this can be structured: 1. You can simply upload it to your existing account and assign it to your existing artist profile, and then add the co-writer as an additional composer in the Composers field on the Extended Properties page of the track edit system. 2. If you wish, you can also add the co-writer in the track description if you want them to have a visible credit for their participation in the track. 3. Or additionally, if the co-writer happens to be a featured artist on a track, you can add "Feat. Artist Name" or "Ft. Artist Name" at the end of the track's title. 4. Or you can take it even further and create a new artist that has a name that combines the last name of the two co-writters (e.g. Sullivan & Tate), or even give the new artist profile a new creative name that is like a band or ensemble name. If you decide to use this option, please make sure to first consult the following article: Artist Names - The Rules and Guidelines. --- |
