Q. When do I get paid for earnings that occur for Digital Distribution of my audio content? A. Retailers report and pay our distribution partners on a quarterly basis, and they in turn report and pay to AudioSparx on a quarterly basis. Hence, there is a 9- to 12-month interval from the time a track is first distributed from the AudioSparx site by one of our distribution partners and when earnings will start to appear in your account in relation to earnings for that distributed track instance. AudioSparx always post earnings to your account as soon as we receive earnings reports from our distribution partners, and then you receive payment for that during our usual payment disbursement cycle, which always happens 45 days after the end of each calendar quarter. For example, if our site shows that a track of yours was distributed in December 2014, this generally means that our compilation development partner will most likely distribute the album to retail channels in Q1 2015, and sales will start during that quarter or the following quarter. It is not uncommon that the "release date" (when it actually goes on sale) is delayed by one to several months from the time an album is received at a retail deck. So then the retailers report sales for Q1 2015 to our development partners in Q2, and then they report sales to AudioSparx in Q3. We then post the sales from Q1 to your account during Q3 and pay you for these sales after the end of Q3, hence in Q4. So, end-to-end, from the time of download of the track from our site, to the point where you actually receive payment, is potentially a 9- to 12-month cycle. IN SUMMARY: For current play activity you see on a deck such as Spotify, the earnings for that activity happening right now will not appear as earnings in your account here at AudioSparx until several calendar quarters later. ---
