Urpin Folklore Ensemble

The Urpin Folklore Ensemble is from the town Banska Bystrica, which is in Central Slovakian Region, in Slovak Republic. This ensemble compiles the folkloric dance and music traditions from the typical regions of Slovakia: Horehronie and Podpolamie. The ensemble was founded in 1957 and in present time associates more than 50 mainly young people who like the folklore traditions of their predecessors.
