An exciting Solar Electricity project in Afghanistan shows progress in Bamyan (also spelled Bamiyan and Bamian), centrally located in the country with 90% mountainous terrain and brutal winters that last six months each year. Our client is involved in large infrastructure development projects, and thus the video shows how private enterprise is filling long unmet needs of the citizens.
Our client Robert Zuill licensed Afghan Ensemble’s beautiful, exotic female vocal, which plays early in the video, then picks up again around 5.25 minutes. Check out the beauty of this Afghan Music track, perfect for lending authenticity to films in the Middle East: Dokhtare Bagh-Girl in the Garden
With a city population of around 70,000, interviews of ordinary folks reveal how billions in development money poured into their area but was squandered through corruption or shoddy workmanship. Awesome film footage reveals the desolation of the area, including the two massive cliff recessions where the 6th Century Buddhas of Bamiyan were shamelessly destroyed in 2002 by the Taliban.
